New York New York - Explore the City in Style!
With the arrival of a quirky new style from Pamela Mann this month, we thought we would pay homage to the inspiration behind the fabulous new fashion tights! New York, the city that never sleeps. It's skyline is famously majestic and we have picked out some absolute 'musts' to add to your list of places to visit whilst in the city.
The funky Pamela Mann New York Sky Line Tights celebrate many of New York's famous landmarks. Sitting atop the over knee tights are the famous Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building to name a few... Whilst you are in New York these amazing platforms, to view the city from, should be on your list. Other, obvious, New York past times such as shopping and taking a ride in a yellow taxi, should also be on your agenda!! Alongside the traditional tourist attractions are an abundance of other less obvious places to check out.

A perfect start to your day would be breakfast at the iconic Balthazar. Feast on eggs and coffee available in as many ways as you can think of. With a the laid back buzz of New York in the air, mingling with the aroma of the gorgeously decadent pastries and buns, fresh from the Balthazar bakery. Enjoy your meal in lavish surroundings, washed down with a cheeky 'morning pick me up' mimosa or a bloody mary! Why not? You're on holiday after all :)
If you don't get too carried away with the mimosa's, work off your breakfast and take in the beauty of Central Park with a scenic bike ride. Central Park Tours have hire bikes available for a reasonable price. As you are in the park anyway, it would be rude not to lunch at The Boat House. A haven for romantics and nature lovers, this understated but iconic venue offers a rare tranquillity within the ever-eclectic energy that defines Manhattan. True to its name rowboats drift about the adjacent lake, as they have for over 150 years. A relaxed, informal but elegant dining experience.

Before heading back to your apartment, take a stroll around the Union Square Famers Market and buy some organic goodies to stock up your fridge for your stay. You can try as you buy if you can manage anymore food!
It's time to throw on your glad rags and favourite hosiery ;) and head to dinner at the renowned fish restaurant Catch. Set in the heart of Manhattan's Meatpacking District, the contemporary restaurants shareable style dining experience will not disappoint. The seafood is to die for and the atmosphere is electric.

Once inside enjoy some of the best cocktails you'll ever have from the professional mixologists. All served to you by stocking and suspender clad bartenders. With live jazz music on a Sunday to Thursday, this hidden gem is seriously seductive!
We know that the city never sleeps, but you must head home to rest your weary head, as there is so much more of the city to explore for the rest of your stay! If you really can't resist, go dancing at the Boom Boom Room at the top of The Standard Hotel! An impressive bar, rooftop terrace and fabulous views of the city skyline await you!

The popularity of the mock
suspender tights style triggered a flood of new and unique hosiery designs,
that celebs wore everywhere. Fortunately Gipsy, Pamela Mann, Leg Avenue, and
Jonathan Aston continue to make the gorgeous fashion tights accessible to us mere
mortals too…

The love for this new abundance of different hosiery styles
never died and Essex’ee Legs provides a wide range of fashion tights in amongst
its beautiful collections.
With a new trend that seemed to be sticking around, mum
recognised the potential for an online tights shop ranging from sizes 6-32, with international postage. Accessibility
was important to her, as apart from the big flagship stores many of the high
street collections were sparse, with few or none selling plus size tights. With the image of Lily wearing suspender pantyhose, providing that light bulb moment, and a
certain TV show, set in our home town, providing inspiration for a catchy name
for the website…
