On the Breast Cancer Care website Rachel explains "We know that treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormone drugs can leave a woman with... loss of femininity...as well as not feeling sexy." Charnos created National Stockings Day to raise awareness for the cause and to make women feel good and celebrate their femininty.

Alison Baines from Charnos Hosiery says: “After all the support and encouragement our stocking-istas received last year, it has spurred us on to make this year bigger and better in aid of Breast Cancer Care."

So, ditch your usual tights this Friday in favour of some sultry stockings or hold ups. It will make you feel fabulous, and more importantly it's in support of a very worthy cause.

Please show your support on Friday through social media, by sharing your pictures and tweets!
