Opaques with Ankle Boots

As Autumn begins to colour the landscape and bring us cold crisp days, classic opaque tights and ankle boots have been the 'go to', for a bevy of beautiful celebs!

Across the pond, this month, Jessica Alba looked chic on a shopping trip, in New York, in a pretty navy shift and structured blazer. Adding some effortlessly stylish edge to her outfit, the star teamed the look with opaque tights, Doc Martin boots and a navy satchel.

Looking equally as gorgeous, Dakota Fanning was also spotted on a night out in the Big Apple rocking a similar smart-casual autumnal look. Giving us all a lesson in seasonal accessorising the actress paired together an on trend tartan scarf, opaque hosiery and ankle boots for her Manhattan drinks.

Ice Queen for AW14/15

Since the SS14 shows, the catwalk has been decorated with pretty pastel hues. Going into Autumn it's all about layering the pretty sorbet shades, which means we don't need to buy a whole new AW wardrobe! Hurrah! Just add a soft jumper, a candyfloss coloured coat or some pastel coloured tights to carry the trend on through the frosty months. This style is not disappearing anytime soon, it was still a prominent fixture for SS15 at London Fashion Week.

Wild Wednesdays Birthday Bonanza

Well it was certainly a Wild Wednesday in the office, as it was joint celebrations for mine and Nicola's Birthday's!

 

Nicola vamped up her dress in Leg Avenue Criss Cross Side Tights ! She looked fabulous in her side seam tights!

We were both treated to lots of cards, gifts and a toast by our generous work colleagues! Here's Nicola wearing her beer goggles and, erm, showing you her fashion tights from another angle ;)

I wore Charnos Honeycomb Tights for the special day and received so many lovely comments from the ladies at the office. The design tights from charnos hosiery are now an essential in my hosiery drawer, especially for work!

After lots of fun and excitement we ended our afternoon with a little lie down...

Holiday Season Style Stalk- Opaques!

 The stars were out and about in force, in their opaque tights throughout December!

 

Juliette Lewis must have been freezing, but looked beautiful, in her pretty shift dress and opaque pantyhose at the beginning of December. She was pictured in Time Square before her appearance on Good Morning America to promote her film August:Osage County.

 

Alexa Chung was taking a stroll in New York on the 4th of December looking as cool as ever in her teddy bear coat, opaques and ankle boots.

 

Taylor looked cute as she ran errands in Hollywood, in her checked mini skirt, black tights and vibrant yellow slipper pumps.

Fearne rocked her opaques, ankle boots, floral jumper and new pink hair-do on Xmas Eve. She posted this pic on Instagram before heading off to work at the Radio One studio!
