Holiday Season Style Stalk- Opaques!

 The stars were out and about in force, in their opaque tights throughout December!

 

Juliette Lewis must have been freezing, but looked beautiful, in her pretty shift dress and opaque pantyhose at the beginning of December. She was pictured in Time Square before her appearance on Good Morning America to promote her film August:Osage County.

 

Alexa Chung was taking a stroll in New York on the 4th of December looking as cool as ever in her teddy bear coat, opaques and ankle boots.

 

Taylor looked cute as she ran errands in Hollywood, in her checked mini skirt, black tights and vibrant yellow slipper pumps.

Fearne rocked her opaques, ankle boots, floral jumper and new pink hair-do on Xmas Eve. She posted this pic on Instagram before heading off to work at the Radio One studio!

Holiday Season Celebrity Style Steal 2 - Blake Lively

Since leaving our television screens, when Gossip Girl ended, in 2012 Blake Lively has continued to stun on the red carpet and look equally as gorgeous in her day to day wardrobe. She has lost none of her style credentials since leaving the fashion savvy show and has since, bagged herself a cosmetics campaign as the face of L'Oreal Paris, and has designers fighting to dress her. As if this wasn't enough, she also married her gorgeous husband in the form of Ryan Reynolds back in 2012!

The beautiful couple were spotted on a festive shopping spree in Beverly Hills on the 12th of December. Blake looked as stylish as ever in a grey mini skirt, cropped jacket, floppy hat, shades and winter warm tights.

Holiday Season Celeb Style Stalk - Rihanna

So it's officially the start of the New Year! Everyone on the 'happy express' into the City this morning with their soggy umbrellas and 'I really don't want to go back to work' expressions, confirmed that it was in fact January and back to reality! Don't worry, by mid-week we will all be used to the early mornings and be back into the swing of things again! To take our minds off of the dismal weather and cheer ourselves up, let's make a cuppa and we can catch up on what the celebs have been up to over the holidays! 

Rihanna, AKA Queen of Hosiery, turned the street into her very own catwalk as she arrived at New York's Marquee Nightclub in her black fishnets on the 18th December. As usual, the star looked striking in a midnight blue mini dress, glamorous fur and sultry suspender pantyhose. She arrived at the club at 3am and partied until the birds sang!

By the 23rd December Rihanna had jetted to her home country of Barbados to enjoy the rest of the festive season. She uploaded the above sexy shot to her instagram account, showing off her outfit for the Christmas party she was attending at Priva Barbados Lounge! Rihanna's tights always add that saucy edge to her look, she rocked her little red number and opaque stockings. Spending Xmas Eve partying on a tropical island is the way to do it in style, after all! Although, if I'm honest, I'd quite miss the cold weather and my cosy little home on Christmas Day! But whisk me and the family off on a private jet on boxing day for the duration of January please! Maybe we will have to just settle with stealing her hosiery style for now...

A Fresh Start...and control tights!

We trust that it's not just us here, at Essex'ee Legs, who have over indulged over the festive season! After the whirlwind of turkey, yule log, pigs in blankets (I actually felt a little like one of these on the sofa yesterday nursing a sore head!) baileys, wine and champagne, a detox is desperately needed!
